6/12/2005 - There is no need for medical study or research, Trish has proven with Baby Santos that love is a healing force all in it's own, and that many powers are within our reach to help others and perform miracles every day. -Jon
6/12/2005 - what a great memory to have I'm from indiana
4/30/2005 - 'The worst thing about a kitten is that it eventually becomes a cat.' -Obviously Ogden Nash did not know about Baby Santos!
4/30/2005 - I heard Trish tell the story late one night from Vancouver BC, this on CFUN1410. As she spoke about her beloved pet, I could feel her love for Baby Santos in her words. A delightfully touching story. Thank you Trish for telling us about you and he. Don't be alarmed if, sometime when falling asleep, you feel what seems to be a cat making himself comfortable by your side. Such 'visits' remain a possibility given that Santos shared his entire life with you, loving you. His kitty soul/spirit may have a need to visit assuming he has not already. IMHO, it is their way of showing us that their love for us transcends death, as does ours for them.
4/27/2005 - Hello, I heard the story of Baby Santos on the coast to coast show with George Noory. I have a very similar story involving my dog. My dog Ju-Ju is half minature longhaired dauschound and half yorkshire terrier, he has the body and look of the yorkie but with a tail and flop ears. He was born on Christmas morning 3 years ago. We noticed right away that he was smaller than the rest of the puppies and it was hard to get him to nurse his mother, he acted like he wasn't hungry. I would have to take a eye dropper and feed him. We took him to the vet and the vet said he was suffering from low blood sugar so we got him some nutrical. That would give him the vitamins he needed plus increase his need to want to eat. Before we took him to the vet he would have seizures from the low blood sugar, although he may have epilepsy as well. He no longer needs nutrical and is eating great. He has about one seizure every 3 or 4 months. Ju-Ju is now just over 3 years old and is doing fine, he is only 2 1/2 pounds and will never get bigger, it's like having a full grown puppy. He is so spoiled that I can only leave the house for a few hours at a time. Ju-Ju is either on my lap or by my side all of the time. It is as if he knows that he is safe with me. Without love and dedication to Ju-Ju he would have surely have died. I understand Baby Santos and what love can do, Ju-Ju is a puppy that will never grow up. He is my miracle Christmas puppy
4/27/2005 - What a great story! I too heard of Baby Santos (as many of the others who have signed this guestbook) on Coast to Coast AM. Nothing is more powerful than love. Steve - Jacksonville, Florida
4/27/2005 - Hey all, I am writing from Edmonton,AB. I was listening again to coast to coast last night and heard that trish had made it onto the show again. Its kind of odd to hear about people from the same city. But anyways I hope that the legend grows to reach more people because it is such a wonderful story. Jason C
4/27/2005 - Hello! I'm from California, and I loved this story. My brother showed it to my family, and I absolutely loved it. Baby Santos looks like one of our cats. I think the story of Baby Santos is inspiring and bitter-sweet. It is very sad that he died, but it is also wonderful how he lived. Thank you for sharing your inpiring, beautiful story.
4/27/2005 - Dear Animal Lover, Thank you for retelling the story of Baby Santos which I first heard on Coast to Coast AM with George Noory. When I was a little girl I had a beloved kitty who fell off the second story porch of our home. He lay as dead but my Dad bought some catnip, and we nursed him back to his energetic life. That was around 70 years ago and is all I remember about my kitty. His photo, taken with my little Brownie camera, is attached for you to see. He often sat near the mailbox on the concrete post of the gate. Happy Eastertime, Margaret
4/27/2005 - Hi! I live in San Antonio, Texas and I heard about Baby Santos on Coast to Coast. My sisters cat had 3 kittens on Jan. 5th 2005. The 2 females got big and fluffy, but the male was not growing. I decided to keep him and name him Baby Santos. He is gray and white and is very lovable and playful and tiny. I took him to the vet last week and he weighs 1 pound! I have to be careful not to step on him because he likes to run around a lot. The legend of Baby Santos lives on because I tell everyone his story and why I named my kitten after him. Have a great weekend and a Happy Easter! Vicki =^..^=

3/6/2005 - Hi I heard this heartfelt tale on the George Noory show here in Barrie Canada one night. I almost cried myself. I have a English Maine Coon of almost 15 years and he looks like Baby Santos. So I understand her bond with Baby Santos. GOD BLESS BABY SANTOS.
3/6/2005 - BABY SANTOS RULES
3/6/2005 - Why do we love animals so much? I think I love my pets more than people. Is that wrong??
3/6/2005 - My cat gets really sad when I leave too. He also has had a really hard time since my son was born. He is learning to love him though. If he gets really stressed out (I am gone for a long time) he will lick a sore on his leg. We are really connected and I think animals understand so much more than we give them credit for.
2/26/2005 - Kitties are my favorite animal. My cat got ran over by a car and he lived because of(I belive) love, as Sanitos did. I wish you the best of luck and remember that Santos lives through you. Hailli
2/26/2005 - Hi all, I am the owner of Baby Santos's sister...aptly named "kitty". Kitty and Santos share the same personality traits, and I know how much Santos loved Trish and vice versa. Trish, I'm so sorry for your loss, and thank you for your devotion to santos. I remember how kitty "chose me" when we went to visit her litter for the first time, and how baby santos chose you to be his hero. You brought out the best in each other. Jaime (Edmonton, alberta canada)
2/25/2005 - I heard about Little Baby Santos on Coast to Coast, and am actually writing a song about him. I can't believe you left out how he remained kitten sized his entire life! That's part of the awesomeness of this story. That for his entire life LBS was tiny, perfect, innocent and had the body of a child. Kyle , Evansville, IN
2/24/2005 - I just lost my dog of 14 years, maybee baby santos can say hi to her. Sid

2/17/2005 - Trish, Baby Santo's owner, is a half-sister to my children. I phoned her when I heard that baby Santos had died. We cried together. She loved this little kitten with all her heart and will surely miss him. I am very happy that their story is being shared on the Web. Anita Begieneman from Calgary, Alberta

2/16/2005 - baby santos was an expert at playing the track ball cat toy too [that ring-like thing with the ball enclosed within it] he got that thing going good! he liked to play with string too but it had to be a thicker shiny piece of cord so he could see it
2/16/2005 - Love is the strongest and deepest element in all our lives; it is the harbinger of hope, of joy, of ecstasy; it defies all laws and all conventions; it is the freest, and the most powerful shaper of destiny. The Legend of Baby Santos reminds us that love is the strongest force the world possesses, yet it is also the most humbling.
2/16/2005 - I am a friend of Trish's and was sad to hear Baby Santos had died. What a nice story to hear all about him. Maryam (lives in Saudi Arabia)
2/16/2005 - Hello Trish! I heard your first call to Coast to Coast AM, and I want you to know that I have told all my cat-loving friends in Ohio about Baby Santos. I had a cat named Rascal, but we called him The Bummer, Fu-Bum, Rascal-Fu, or anything we could think of. He looked just like Baby Santos and once got his tail caught under a rocking chair! Poor Fu-Bum yelped, but he was ok. Best wishes - Phildon
2/16/2005 - I too heard George Noory's broadcast. It is awesome how strongly we bond with our pets - they teach us so much about generosity of spirit,, unconitional love, and the healing powers of love and caring. We learn from them and become better people for it.Baby Santos is proof of love overcoming all odds. Let us all learn from this story and extend our love to all, both animal and human. Whoever started the legend on behalf of Trish and Baby Santos must be a wonderful and caring person and I thank them for providing this guest book. The previous post was wonderful and eloquent in describing love, and is true!!.......Canadian Prairie Person
2/16/2005 - Baby Santos is soooooo cute!
2/15/2005 - Another Greeting from Ontario Canada, I also heard the sweet, Baby Santos story, on Coast to Coast A.M. w/George Noory. What an amazing story!! When it was reported that Baby Santos remained kitten size for the rest of his life, I thought that was remarkable, for there is nothing so endearing as a baby kitten, and everyone who saw him, must have fallen in love with him. The story was so wonderful, but I am so sorry for your loss. I would love to see more photos of Baby Santos. The one on here is so cute. Thank you for sharing!! Blessings! S. in Ontario
2/15/2005 - I know the legend of Baby Santos because Trish is my niece. Every word you say is true. Baby Santos survived because of the love and devotion that Trish provided. He honestly was a miracle and loved beyond your wildest imagination. Baby Santos will not be forgotten for whenever I look at Trish, I will always see him in her heart and soul. They were blessed to have one another. Jessica Swan

2/12/2005 - Greetings from Ontario Canada, I heard your about your sweet little kitty-angle during your call to Coast to Coast A.M. w/Geroge Noory. Then he replayed the call a couple of weeks later and looked it up while online. Cats have an such amazing ablity to love and hold on for us during their most fragile moments in life. They need us and we need them. As a fellow cat lover I can truly attest to this. :) Rest in peace little Baby Santos. Xoxo
2/12/2005 - Such a heartwarming story! I heard it replayed on Coast to Coast AM this evening with George Noory. I've nursed quite a few kitties back from near death and when it finally becomes time to say goodbye... tough, really tough.
2/4/2005 - How sad the poor little kitty always got sick when she left.

Thanks for a great story. I know what you say is true, my
Baby (his name, though we started out calling him Sherman)
almost died twice, and I firmly believe my love and the
courage and strength of a great vet, Dr. James Shively, was
all that saved him. The first time, he was in a coma, and
Jim didn't expect him to live; he'd aspirated his own
vomit. The second time, he had such a fever, he couldn't
stop shaking. I held him the whole time at the vet. Jim
said a good momma is worth as much as a good vet!

What a truly beautful and wonderful story. Thank you for
sharing.
I still cannot believe Baby Santos lived as long as he did... However, Trish, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that cat lived out of love. Baby Santos had a wonderful, loving life thanks to you and he was one lucky cat... You are a very loving, caring, brilliant person and I feel so lucky to have you in my family/life. Don't EVER change, the world certainly could use more people like you!!
Love, Auntie Marian

Thank you so much for putting Baby Santos's story here.Baby Santos belonged to my daughter, Trish. The story omits that baby Santos passed away the day before Trish was due to return home from a one week vacation. Trish gave Baby Santos a wonderful life, and is the most wonderful, loving and wise soul.....
This story was featured on Coast to Coast A.M. Also, a kind soul had this posted on a different site. I am delighted to see it again!
Love do healing. Yeah.. I believe that. ;)
